IgG Food Sensitivity Profiles

The marjority of adverse reactions to food are rarely life threatening, but may be a source of considerable discomfort in many chronic diseases and conditions and diseases. The symptoms are varied and people can react in different ways.  Common conditions where food sensitivity may play a major role is bloating and fluid retention, inflamatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, migrane, depression and mood swings, asthma, skin conditions and behavioural problems in children. IgG food sensitivity reactions have a delayed onset from several hours or days from  the time of ingestion of the culprit food. Unlike a food allergy a food sensitivity or intolerance are more subtle in their presentation and the symptoms can become worse over time and can affect any organ or tissue in the body.

IgG  food sensitivity is identified by giving a blood sample which is screened for IgG antibodies to a panel of  foods. The most common food sensitivities are to cow’s milk, eggs, beans, nuts and cereals. Removal of the culprit food will in many cases lead to rapid improvement. Many patients report improved weight control, more vitality, and a better quality of life following the dietary changes from detecting food sensititvity.

It takes about 7 to 10 days for the result report to be returned to you.
